Living Together Before Marriage

Do you agree to cohabit? In traditional society, this behavior might be debated; in contract, in modern society, cohabit is become more universal. Actually, I agree living together before marriage. I think there are two advantages on it.

First, everyone comes from different family i.e. people have various growth background. Thus, if you can live together before marriage, you can find the difference with your partner. Then, you can try to find the solution to settle disputes. After day and day, the argument will become less. In the other hand, if you really can’t accept your partner’s bad habits, you have enough time to question whether you want to go ahead with the wedding? Second, you will have more time to observe your partner and consider about whether he/she is your true love during that peiod as you will spend much time to get along with your partner.

In short, I think living together before marriage is a good way as you have more time to think about your further. Also, you can learn to accept the different habits with you partner to avoid any argument.

Have a Dinner with High School Classmates

I have two good high school classmates and our good relationship is over 16 years upto now. Overview these years, we were familiar with each others as we all like to sport and we used to stay at school after classes for various sports. Thus, we were getting closer than others as we have common interest. On the other hand, we all worked in Taipei after graduated, so, we could keep regularly contact.

Joan is a Virgo, she can sustain by herself without really requiring the help of others.
The Virgo is highly discriminating. She has practical analytical abilities and she is so smart. For her, sensation is valued over thoughts or feelings.

Isa is a Capricorn, she is hardworking, practical, responsible, persevering, and cautious to the extreme persons. Sometimes, she is ill-at-ease and self-centered, but not excessively. She tends to attract people who do not understand her.

Tonight, I have dinner with them in Zhonghe. We all busy during this period, so, it is a rare chance for us. We recollections of the past, there was funny events, angry events, and unforgettable events. Anyway, it is the part of our life. We all very happy today. Finally, we make an appointment to travel next year together. In short, it is a wonderful dinner time.

A Party

I usually go to KTV with my good co-workers every two months. We have periodical party for members. Recently, we held the party on Mar 11, 2011. We are used to have some drink. Our mood of joyful pervaded the gathering as usual. Especially, we have prepaid a special game this time.

Everyone should ever heard “In wine there is truth”, but might not have experience on it. One of my co-workers named Mr. C who is easy to lose control after getting drunk. But, he always can bring us interesting episode. In addition, Ms. O also got drunk on that night party, unlucky, she said something that should not be known by others. Everyone was shocked after hearing this secret. In fact, I had knew this event before.
I didn’t say any word and I want not say anything. After a while, she began to vomit and her vomit stain everywhere.

I keep in sober-minded this time, thus, I totally felt sad for her. Finally, her husband took her home. We though it is a best way for her. After this time, I think our party should be joyful. If something changed, we should find the exact ways to let everyone be safe and don’t get hurt. Then, our party will have more happy and meaningful.

I am No. 4

John is an alien from another planet and had moved to earth. Each of them has a number and they all have a protector accompanies them. Their enemies called Mogadarians have been sent to destroy him after killing three other kids before him with the same abilities.

I was excited to see this movie as a lot of action and someone with powers. In addition, Sam finally realizing his dad's fantasy becoming a reality and his desire to find him made sense. Also, when number four’s protector was died, he was so sadly. At that moment, I was so touched by their good acting. The characters were charming. I enjoyed the plot, even though, at some points, it did become quite tense (there was a part where the guy was thrown onto the school window, it makes my friend and I jumped).

On the whole, it is a very entertaining movie and I think this movie is worth seeing in theaters as the action scenes truly make the experience. In short, I Am Number Four is a great movie and the action was impressive. Of course, the acting was done well.

Mercy Killing

Mercy Killing is defined as the killing of one person by another and it is classified to whether a person was informed into two types: voluntary and non-voluntary. Mercy Killing is an immense controversy in the society, i.e. not every one can accept it. Nevertheless, Mercy Killing is still legal in some countries. For example, Holland is widely regarded as one of the world's most civilized countries and active euthanasia is legal there. Anyhow, every country has various opinions; some are in favor of mercy killing while others are opposed to. From the oppositional opinion of Mercy Killing, the meaning of life is "to live"; however, in terms of law, a human is not allow to be killed by another and those people said the Mercy Killing is a form of suicide assisted by a doctor.

Actually, I agree with Mercy Killing based on voluntary situation as it is often overlooked that patients have the common law right to refuse any medical treatment. For my opinion, dying patients should have the right to order their doctors not to start or continue medical treatment. Of course, the doctor is to save people's life, but if a patient is suffering from a serious disease and is going to die after three months, a patient is in unaffordable pain and has no hope to survive. Is a person allowed to kill by himself? For example, my co-worker's father was in a vegetative state since one year ago. His family members have been sad and suffering and they felt father has lost his dignity in the sickbed. They all feel unbearable and reluctant. Whether it is better to relieve from suffering? In addition, I disagree with Mercy Killing based on non-voluntary situation. For example, if a patient was brain dead i.e. he or she can not make a decision by themselves and their relatives would like to get a large inheritance. Then, the decision was made by these guys who just wanted to get money. They could very easily open the door to active euthanasia. That's why I disagree of it.

In short, Mercy Killing is an immense controversy in various countries. There can always be disagreements about what is rational and irrational. I think each of us should be able to make our own medical decisions. Thus, wise merciful deaths should be permitted and supported.

Black Swan

Nina is a ballerina in a New York City ballet company whose life is completely consumed with dance. She lives with her retired ballerina mother who supports her as a professional ambition. When artistic director chooses Nina as the new opening main actress for new season. She treats Lily, a new dancer, as a competitor. Swan Lake requires a dancer who can play both the White Swan with innocence and grace, and the Black Swan with guilty and sensuality. Nina as the White Swan perfectly, but, Lily is the better of the Black Swan. When Nina begins to get more in touch with Lily, She always felt Lily would like to destroy her. However, Nina's a perfectionist let her have hallucinations. Eventually, she even presumed that is was all worth in her end and dies “consentant”.

Actually, I think this kind of people is very pitiful. She requests faultless in her life. She even hurt herself. I think the perfect should be “ just do your best”, is it? In the other side, I am admire Natalie Portman for her good acting as I think it is a big challenge to interpret this film. If you have a chance to see this movies, you will be touched by her good acting.

My third time to visit Korea

I like travel and my dream is to tour twice a year. I hope I could tour Turkey and Italy once available. I visited China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Thailand, and so on…. Every country has its various cultures. I learnt different things from these countries. Sometimes, the same thing doing in foreign and doing in local will bring different feelings i.e. the proverb said “While in Rome, do as the Romans do”.

Among these countries, I had three travel experiences in Korea. My first time to Korea was in 2005 for company tour. It was a boring tourist spots for me as I felt nothing special and nothing attractable there. After then, I decided not to go to Korea again. Nevertheless, one of my best friends called Joan who loves Korea so much. She invited me to travel Seoul in 2008. After my considered, I toured there again for my good friendship with Joan. On that time, I found Korean is friendly and Korean food is tasty thought some people might feel it is too spicy or too salty. In Feb. 2011, we went Seoul, it is my third time to visit this place and I felt this country is keeping progress. Actually, I got a lot in this travel. We planed this journey for our self including make a hotel reservation and so on… the Korean food is still tasty and Korean is still friendly. And, I found there are many Korean can speak Chinese as they had studied in China. So, it became easier to communicate with locals.

Due to national plot, our impress of Korean is cheating. In addition, the event of Taekwondo occurred few months ago, it reinforce people's prejudices. In this travel, one Korean asked us whether it is true that most Taiwanese don’t like Korean? At that moment, we were shocked and felt so embarrassed. In other case, a Korean asked us what relation between mainland and Taiwan? He told us his Chinese teacher in Beijing replied him “it is our interior problem, you needn’t to know.” We don’t answer it. But, we felt so fresh to hear this issue from foreign people. In short, I think a attentive tour can augmentation one’s experience and knowledge.
