In Taiwan, fraud syndicates keep coming up with new ways to trick people.

Nowadays, there are more and more people are deceived, it brings a lot of problems to the society.

There are some experiences around me. For example, everyone might have the experience to shopping online. One day, one of my friends took a phone call and caller pretend to a seller that told him you set the wrong payment way and asked him to reset it by ATM urgently. If you hear some similar words fm caller like "you must act now" or "You have won a free gift or vacation and just pay for handling or other charges". You need to be more careful and follow three steps. At first, you have to listen careful about what the caller said. After that, hang up the phone and don't let this call effects your mind. At last, you should call the direct line "165" to check the matter fm caller. Nevertheless, if you have been tricked over the phone call, it's very difficult to get your money back. You just have to go to the police station and record the police report and explained what happened.
In conclusion, it's really not easy to prevent these problems.

I think the best way is to be careful to protect your personal information.

GOOD HEALTH‏

These period, some of my friends face their fathers' diseases, and it caused them feel upset.
I have great esteem for their hardy.I am sure that if I were them, I could not handle my mood very well.Although our world is full of distresses like birth, age, illness and death. When I getting old, I am deeply know that in good health is very important.
Good health can be obtained through keep on exercising, watch what you eat, get enough rest,
keep regular hours, and rid yourself of nervous tension.
Never take health for granted, and you can always be healthy.
Not only should you make efforts to obtain good health but once in good health you should always watch out to stay healthy.
Eventually, I want everyone in my family in good health and all my friends enjoy the greatest moments in life.

AVATAR

"Avatar" is the story of an ex-Marine called Jack who learns the way of the indigenous Na'vi people. This is a very interesting film.
As an Avatar, a human mind in an alien body, he finds himself torn between two worlds. Finally, Jack fall in love to a girl who is a really Na'vi people.
It teaches us the value of life and the difference between what you want and need.
I think wherever you live, you should do your best for your lovers and faithful to your choice.
There is a large part of that is down to the brilliant use of 3D – which is both subtle and incredibly effective.
Overall, this is a beautiful film, and I highly recommend it.

Wedding Customs in Taiwan

Speaking of wedding customs,
There are traditional and modern weddings in Taiwan.
But traditional wedding ceremony is still influential in Taiwan.
Traditional wedding include worship, ignite, waiting for bridegroom, farewell, sling a fan, stroking an orange, move forward to bridal chamber, wedding party, guest departure and shivaree.
Usually, getting married is preceded by getting engaged.
This period is an opportunity for a couple to learn more about each other.
Nowadays, a lot of young people choose to get married in a modern style.
A modern wedding ceremony is a combination of joy and happiness with bridal veil, fireworks, groom and bride, and a number of guests.
Besides, there are many collective wedding ceremonies in Taiwan.
A lot of young couples, whether from Taipei, Taichung or Tainan,
choose to participate in a collective wedding ceremony where people share common wishes for a bright future.

Christmas blessing

Christmas in Taiwan, people send good friends cards and presents to celebrate this day. We write down our best wishes to those who we want to bless, and put the wrapped up gifts in the stockings.
Because there are no Santa Claus in Taiwan, parents put the gifts in the stockings at night. In fact, there isn't a holiday called Christmas in Taiwan.
Instead, there is one called "Constitution Actualize Memorial Day" .
However, it is still great to imitate the westerns and celebrate Christmas.
This year’s Christmas is coming soon, I plan to give my best friends the Christimas presents as usual.
In original, we would like to pick out the birthday present for Monica today but we fault it.
Accidentally, we entered one shop where sale a lot of merchandises related to Christmas. We spent approximate two hours there and USD 40 for our Christmas presents. Although, this is out of our plan but it’s really a happy schedule for us.

Anyhow, I believe that everyone will be happy once get the blessing.

Foreign Travel

Foreign travel has a lot of advantages like to meet new friends, get new experience, help you release the stress and fresh your mind.
When travelers begin to plan a trip, it is common for them to construct a careful itinerary. First of all, how much money will be needed, and to read about which county they will visit. For example, the cost is approximate USD 600 to Asia area and USD 3000 to Europe area. Second, you may consider to trip by tour package or Foreign Independent Travel. For example, you will more save the time by using tour package and save the money by Foreign Independent Travel.
Third, what kind of place would you like to live?
For example, you can choice the suitable hotel which has different level belongs to 3 to 5 stars, or you can choice to live in Bed and Breakfast which is cheaper than to live in the hotel. Final, the goal of food is to help travelers make choices.
There is nothing wrong with eating in a developing country if you are aware of the risks, also, take some medications on hand.
In conclusion, a little bit of common sense will result in an enjoyable experience of your foreign travel.

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS FOR 2010

Last years, My New Year's resolutions are travel twice a year.
I have reached it, so I plan to stretch my wishes in coming year.
However, I love to travel, so I still plan to travel two places in 2010.
The counties where I like most are Turkey and Italy.
This is my first target in 2010.
Second, I want to make progress on my English skill because I feel my English is not good during studying in LUNGHWA University this period.
Third, as I have not lived with my parents since 1999.
Therefore, we don't have much time to get along with these years.
I will spend more time with my family as far as I can.
Last one, I will learn to do my job and everything patiently as I often act on impulse and bad temper.

These are my New Year's resolutions for 2010.
Though, things are unpredictable. I still believe "Just do it" this thought.
I will do my best step by step.

Steve Jobs' Stanford Speech

Steve Jobs' speech inspired people with three stories of his life. He said we should do everything based on our true heart. If not, keep looking. Don't settle. "And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.” It deeply touched my heart as I always do what I should to do but not I love to. Thus, I wish I can follow it someday. In addition, he said "death is the destination we all share".
If today is my last day, I just want to tell everyone who I love to be happy and wish you happiness. Also, follow your heart to do what you want to do.
Anyhow, I thought the successful person is just the reflection of ourselves because the successful key is grasped on your own hand. Your life is totally on your hand, therefore, I learn that to do your best and love what you do from Steve Jobs. Don't let your life be regretful.

Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky

This film combine with fashion factors and strong musicality.
I felt impressively for the intense music and classic design.
Ever time of lady's appearance are colorful and the makings are extraordinary,
Especially, her inflexible brings her success to build the "Chanel Kingdom".
Anyhow, I feel whatever an independence a women as, they are still weakness in the bottom of the heart.

People always have different commentary and the dispute about the named brand.
The fans of named brand will let people feel they are superficial and vanity.
But it's really not easy to make out its material, You have to attentive many points.
If you can understand, you can find its quality and value.

After looking this movie, you can learn the spirit of COCO CHANEL who is brave, fearless and independence.

If you have free time, I recommend this movie to you.

Positive Attitude

This year, many things changed rapidly.
It caused me have no enough time to think about my next step,
I just can accept every coming things spontaneously.
After come back from my June's business trip at Kaohsiung.
My work become busy but now seems it's on my control,
Thus, I can put more time to determined on my studies.

Pressing business matters and studies let me feel so tired,
But I really know this is my choice, isn't it?
This period, some of my friends told me: Take easy! Just relax!
It awaken me to slow my pace.
I anxious to do well not only on my job but also my studies.
Now, I realize it shoule be proceeding step by step.

Anyhow, I will do everything with positive attitude towards life.
Only have positive thoughts for people who are negative about him...
it is never an eye for an eye...the good still prevails.

My favorite baseball

Baseball is very widely popular in Taiwan.
After the Baseball World Cup Tournament on 2000,
even called the baseball is our "country ball".
However, we have many famous players all over the world,
like Mr. Tsao Chin-hui was the first Taiwanese to play in Major League Baseball in North America
and Mr. Wang Chien-Ming was be called "The Pride of Taiwan".... etc.
It's so pride of Them.

These days, corruption scandals have haunted the professional league in Taiwan.
I am surpised that Tsao Chin-hui is a one of those who were detained.
He works for Brother Elephants Baseball team but now was fired.
It's a scandal for players to take bribes.
This action will have a great effect not only to you but also to others whom are innocent.
They might be thrown into unemployment just because of you.

If you have ever been to the court for live,
you should had been infected by them.
The sound of encouragement was resound through out the sky.
The tense atmosphere as soon as pressed to come up.
All fans were excited with the players.

I think If you really love your baseball career, you shouldn't do it.
Not only your life will be broken but also others.
Anyway, many fans protested against for innocent players recently.
I just want to say: Don't give up!
And hope this sport can be continued.

My favorite movies: The Green Mile

The Green Mile is mention about a person named Paul who is in charge of Death Row.
One day, a new inmate arrives, John Coffey.
He is a 7-foot-tall black man convicted of killing two young white girls.

Period of time passed, Paul fully understood that John was been misconceived,
Then, he told to John, what he should to do, should he open the door and let him walk away?
John said "NO" as he is ready to go because he can feel there is too much pain in the world.

When John is put in the electric chair, he asks Paul not to put the black mask on his face because he is afraid of the dark.
Paul agrees and after Paul shakes his hand, John is executed.

Why I perfound of this film is because the story is so miserable.
Maybe, the best word after seeing the movies should be " The ignorant is happiness".

People always just believe what they saw.

Person Who has Made a Difference

Ang Lee has become one of today's greatest filmmakers in the world.
His famous productions are Sense and Sensibility, The Wedding Banqnet,
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and Brokeback Mountain....etc.
"Brokeback Mountain" won the best director academy award for him in 2005.
Also, he is the first Asian who won the best director in the Oscar.
Because of Ang Lee, so many people know about Taiwanese filmmaking.
Recently, his new movie is Taking Woodstock which is mention about peace and love by musical. Even though the style is different with pervious ones, still a popular film.
For me, "Watch your wish then you will get it" he said,
This is one of my favorite sentance as I feel it's encouraged.
I think he also has huge influence in the lives of younger filmmakers because of his success worldwide brought them hopeful.

Centripetal Force

Recently, our office manager asked every operators to write down other ones shortcomings and advantages.

This method was done is because she wants to adding the sense of belonging to our company.

After that, everyone get an anonymous card shown their shortcomings and advantages.
Of course, I also got the one which shown the items of my advantages is more than my shortcomings.

What I felt about it, I think it's not every important for me because I know what I do in my work time.

I think every one has his shortcomings,
but the only way we should to do is to accept other ones' suggestion and try to discard bad thought.
Anyhow, just stretch the excellences.

I think it's a best attitude to help us growing.

Emotion

When you are happy or sad even though angry,
Who you would like to share with?
And who can be considerate of your feeling?

While you are in angry, the words always hurt someone inadvertently.
Therefore, I think be silence that moment is the best way we can do.

Learning how to understand ones emotions and deal with emotional problems is important.
Once you have this ability, you shall get along with others well.

There is no denying that everything is so different between us.
Maybe my heart is too weak to bear the heavy.
What I can say is just “sorry”.

Time can’t erase the memories, but I know that forward is the only way I can do.
This moment, I realized of all.

How to living in a happy-go-lucky?
I think it’s so difficult but I wll try to do my best to let bad emotions go away.

TWILIGHT

After reading the TWILIGHT, I am thinking about if I am a mind reader such as Edward.
Does my life will be better than now?

Having the extraordinary power of mind reading sounds novelly and enviable.
If I can penetrate everyone no matter I know or not,
Maybe I can DON'T worry about the exams and works.
Also, there will be no misunderstanding between peoples.
Then?
Does it means everything will be better?
I don't think so as there will be no pleasantly surprise in the world.

There are always accidents in one's life, but people still feel good.
It's because the good life can't be planned.

Expectancy will bring the hopefulness.
People should have it everyday because hopefulness will become happiness.

Being ordinary is happiness.

Cities

Hello, everyone.

My topic is cities.

There are approximate 350 cities in the world.

I have been to Anhui, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Harbin, Hong Kong, Seoul, Inchon, Bangkok and Pattaya.
However, among all those cities, my dream cities are Istanbul and Lhasa.

Today, I would like to share with is Harbin in China.

I have been to Harbin in winter last year.
The view is really beautiful and special even thought the weather is very cold.

Harbin's winter period is long but its summer is short.
Even summer between July and September,
the average temperature is negative 20 degrees centigrade.
but the winter in Harbin can be low as negative 40 degrees centigrade.
Snow starts in earlier November and the coldest month is January.
However, the winter is a great season to visit Harbin because of Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival were held annually this period with many stunning ice and snow sculptures.

In addition, the European architecture and Zhongyang Dajie are famous places in Harbin, too.

Harbin is proximity to Russia, Thus, you can taste Russian food there and buy some gifts in Russian style to friends.

If I have enough time and money, I will visit this city once again because I have a lot of wonderful memories in that travel and it's novelty.

It was really a great trip and I highly recommend this city.

This year's birthday, I received many Birthday blessings and Birthday gifts fm my friends.

There are 4 birthday celebrations for me.

On Sep 30,2009,
One of my best friends named Joan, we have a dinner together happily.

On Oct 01,2009,
My best friends, Mandy, Monica, Ryan, Neil and Aries, we have a KTV party.
We just singing without high emotions even no birthday cake.
But I really like to get along with them as we can felt carefree and there are no craftiness.

I always confide in them, and they can understand and offer me constructive criticism.

They are sincerely. That's why I like them so much.

On Oct 02,2009,
I went to the KTV again as my coworkers hold a birthday celebration for Jason and Me.
We plan it for a long time and we all expect that day.
We drank beers and VODKA mix with Sprite.
There are 14 peoples join this party and 7 one crocked.
Maybe it sounds crazy.
But we decided to keep off alcohol as the health is most important.

On Oct 05, 2009,
I have the lunch with my team in NMC-Taipei. I am really happy that they all remember my birthday.

I am really appreciated having these best friends.
Everthing they do for me I always keep it in my mind and never forget.

Friendship is the most long-lasting relationship.

My name is Mercy Cheng. I was born on Oct 01, 1978.
I come from Changhua which in the central Taiwan with great weather.
There are five members in my family, I love them so much.

I like to watch movies in my free time which like action films, thriller films and comedy films.
My dream is travel to the world.
Now, I am doing my best to learn the English in order to speak with foreign people.
After that, I think I can travel everywhere without any problem as English is the general language in the world.

In addition, I always have to make contact with agents in Europe by e-mail.
Reading and writing are not problem for me.
When I got urgent call form them, I can't solve the problem smoothly.
It caused me to feel upset.
